The Sustainable Self-Leadership Studio™

Diamond Poyer is a learning and human development leader with 15+ years of cross-sector experience spanning early childhood and K–12 through higher education, workforce development, training and coaching, health and human services, nonprofit service, family, and community engagement. Together, these experiences have shaped a multidisciplinary approach to human development that brings lived experience and professional practice together to design frameworks, learning and transformation journeys, immersive wellness experiences, and reflective practices that help high-responsibility people, communities, and organizations navigate change without losing sight of the whole person experiencing it.

Born into a caregiver role to a mother navigating Multiple Sclerosis, and shaped by early experiences across family, community, education, and faith-based leadership, Diamond learned how easily caring, contributing, achieving, and leading can become disconnected from attending to our own human needs. That understanding deepened when disruption became personal. Navigating chronic neurological conditions and the changes they brought to her body, communication, capacity, work, social experiences, identity, daily life management, and now parenting, challenged Diamond to reconsider what it actually means to be well while life is still happening. Recovery became more than returning to who she had been. It became an intentional practice of listening differently to her mind, body, and nervous system. She was required to learn how to honor changing capacity, reconnect the dimensions of wellness that sustain a whole life, and intentionally grow through disruption—integrating what it taught her into a fuller, more grounded way of living, leading, and becoming.

That lived practice strengthened a belief already forming through her professional work: wellness cannot be reduced to how well we perform at work or how quickly we recover enough to become productive again. Whole-person wellness considers the human being beyond any one role, function or responsibility.

Puzzle Peace Me™ grew from that multidimensional intersection—what Diamond has learned, studied, taught, designed, facilitated, and practiced in her own life as a high-responsibility human, parent, educator, caregiver, and strengths-based leader. The work is ultimately an invitation to become an active participant in putting your own puzzle pieces together: to reflect, reconnect, adapt, reset, rebuild, and intentionally grow through the changes that shape you—not simply emerging on the other side, but discovering how to live and lead more fully because of what you have learned along the way.

That is the practice of sustainable self-leadership: learning how to meet the life you actually have in different seasons, as the person you are continually becoming—in peace, on purpose.™
